Sports Massage Therapist / Endurance Athlete / Coach

As a high level athlete herself, Anne can attest to the importance of regular high quality specific bodywork to maximize performance and promote longevity. This coupled with well-balanced conditioning to support and promote a well-rounded athletic state. Her desire to perform at the highest level and to reach personal true potentials in her sports fueled the desire to learn more about the human body and work with others to maximize potentials, in a therapeutic as well as coaching and teaching role. With the body in motion in mind, Anne’s massage and bodywork skills are helpful to highly trained athletes to everyday movers. She will work with you to regain balance, addressing areas of increased muscle tone and soft tissue tightness along with muscle imbalances, enabling you to reach your health and fitness goals. Anne can also work with you on increasing mobility, stretching with the athletic body in mind to enable fluid, elastic movement. Anne's experience includes working with high level athletes including longterm work with a professional running team, the University of Virginia Track and Field Team, individual professional athletes and up and coming junior athletes, alongside other competitive athletes in a number of sports as well as everyday movers. Anne brings to the table her education and experience from Europe, having initially qualified in the United Kingdom with a worldwide recognized qualification. Anne continues to further her education and has specific interests in structural integration and the fascial system with movement in mind.

  • Professional long distance triathlete  (2005–2012) 16 Ironman races under her belt, with a number of top ten finishes including 5th at Ironman UK (2006). Also competed on the Great Britain Elite team in 2 European and 1 World Championship long distance triathlons
  • Professional level endurance mountain biker - 3rd National Ultra Endurance Series (2017)
  • Currently racing at a high level in ultra distance trail running - with a number of 200+ mile finishes & 1st place Triple Crown of 200's (2021)
